Medicare is hard – people need help in finding the right answers to their questions.

You could help them do that by joining the SHIP/SMP Volunteers!

We provide the training and the opportunities.  You just need to be willing to help those in your community.

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program is a nationwide program that provides free and objective counseling & assistance to people with questions or problems with their Medicare & other related health insurance.  We do not sell insurance.  We are funded by federal grants from the Administration for Community Living.

We will be hosting a New Volunteer Training session on Monday, April 22 & Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at our office in Mt. Pleasant, TN.
