We are pleased to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Economic and Community Development Department, as well as to Perry County, for their exemplary achievement in securing a substantial $320,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This funding was utilized to purchase a new ambulance, enhance the county’s emergency medical services, and ensure better healthcare access for the community.
The individuals pictured below play pivotal roles in this accomplishment: John Carroll, Mayor of Perry County; Kayla Baxter, Project Manager for TNECD CDBG; Lorie Fisher, Director of Economic and Community Development at SCTDD; and Gary Rogers, Director of the Emergency Management Agency. Their collaborative efforts have contributed significantly to this success, which will greatly benefit the residents of Perry County.
